4. Born, raised and processed in the USA.

Listed
here are our suppliers who are committed to upholding
our high standards. We always have a butcher on hand to
custom cut anything per your request. As a regular customer,
you’ll come to know that what you see in our case
isn’t all that we have to offer. Just by asking,
you’ll find that we have plenty of inventory in
our walk-in cooler, and that no request is too much to
ask of us. It’s what we do best, cutting per your
request and not limiting you to the selection on display.
We also work with many other suppliers and can usually
run down that specialty item for you such as quail, duck,
veal specialties, and more.
BEEF – Double
R Signature Beef is the backbone
of our beef program. Double
R Ranch Signature Northwest grain-fed beef meets all
the standards for great taste and tenderness that consumers
want. In fact, there is no difference in taste between
Midwest corn-fed beef - (the "Gold Standard"
of beef) and Northwest beef in blind taste tests. Northwest
beef has a slightly whiter marbling color because of the
dietary differences versus cattle in the Mid-West, a consumer
preferred trait.
PORK – Salmon
Creek Farms is also a co-op of self
sustaining farmers achieving common goals of producing
premium pork without adding steroids, hormones or antibiotics
to their feeds. Furthermore, they opt not to have their
products injected with salt, water or phosphates; just
pure natural pork.
KOBE STYLE BEEF –
Snake River Farms,
an Idaho company, produces their American Kobe beef as
well as their Kurobuta Berkshire pork. Both are legendary
breeds that are described as exquisitely tender and delicious;
truly a steak lover dream.
GROUND
MEATS & SAUSAGES – It
should come as no surprise that we have the largest selection
of freshly ground meats and sausages. We grind turkey,
chicken, veal, pork, lamb and a special ‘meatloaf
blend’ of 1/3 each beef, pork, and veal. We also
carry a variety of sausages we make in-house. You will
be pleasantly surprised the first time you try our pork
sausages and realize how lean and ‘meaty’
they are. We use only 100% pork shoulder for flavor and
leanness. Our chicken sausages are made from draper valleys
free range chicken and come in a variety flavors using
fresh ingredients like spinach with feta, roasted red
pepper and parmesan with pesto.
OTHER
SUPPLIERS – We
also work with many other suppliers such as Provimi veal,
Maple Leaf Farms duck and quail as well as an array of
seafood suppliers. Special requests really aren’t
so special after all with us. If you’re looking
for it, and it’s protein, we can find it for you.
POULTRY – Draper
Valley Farms, Wow, what a difference
from the supermarket birds. Raised on an all-vegetarian
diet with room to exercise, these chicks are raised in
Draper Valley Washington. “Tastes like chicken”
should taste.
LAMB
– Our
lamb comes from ranchers right here in the Treasure Valley.
Naturally raised in the outdoors and finished on grains,
our lamb is then butchered at a small packer here in the
valley. With a mild flavor, our lamb has a difference
that you can easily taste compared to the lamb raised
overseas.
